Scan Kilpatrick for the Rappahannock Newt SLUDGE DISPOSAL SITE? — The Board of Supervisors voted unanimously at its meeting on Monday to dispose of Sperryville’s sludge at the county landfill. This aerial photo shows the existing privately owned and jperated landfill near Woodville. A closure plan has been ordered by Robert Forman of the state Health Department, who estimates the remaining life of the landfill is “50 to 60 days.” Approval of a new site will require at least six months, according to Mr. Forman.
