Gypsy moth banding lime is here again, and burlap hands are available at the Extension Office free of charge.
These bands should ■ be put around hardwood tree trunks at about shoulder level. They should be checked for larva in the late afternoon. Larva will go under the bands to escape the sun. They feed at night when it is cool.
