Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pennington spent Thursday through Saturday at their summer place in Lewisetta.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Lee attended the circus at Winchester on Sunday afternoon.

Among those attending the Winchester Apple Blossom Festival on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. John Lee Jr. of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Lee and Miss Caroline Lee.

Visitors during the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and daughters Amanda and Bobbie Jo were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brown of Woodville, Ms. Tanya Brown and Ms. Bonnie Brown of Gaithersburg, Md., Mr. and Mrs. James Bfeatty and, son Randy of Point O’ Woods, Front Royal, Tim Falls of Woodville, Mrs. Theresa Brown and son Jason, Miss Edie Eastham, Mrs. Ann Simmons and Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark.

Ms. Betty Menefee of Warrenton treated her sister Mrs. Mary Hudson and mother Mrs. Frances Eubank to lunch at Brambles on Friday to celebrate Mrs. Eubank’s birthday. Happy birthday, Mrs. Eubank.

On Sunday evening Mrs. Eubank was honored at a birthday dinner at Brookside, near Luray, by her children and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Hitt of Woodville, Mrs. Mary Carter Smoot and daughter Crystal of Lake Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hudson and daughter Victoria, Mrs. Mary Hudson and John Eubank Jr.

Mrs. Russie Miller of Flint Hill called on Mrs. Eubank Monday, Tuesday Mrs. Sarah Latham of Amissville visited her and on Wednesday Mrs. Marjorie Atkins dropped by.

Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley camped Thursday through Monday in Fort Valley at Jess Rocks, the summer home of Mrs. Jesse Curtis of Woodbridge.

Other campers joining them for the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Pfalgraf and Mr. and Mrs. James HarroVer of Fairview Beach, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Timms of Placid Bay and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Shepherd of Lorton.

Don’t forget this Sunday is Mother’s Day. Do something nice for her, she deserves the best!
