Ernest Fincham
Ernest Clifton Fincham, 60, of Bealeton, died May 4 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton. A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Ernest Clifton and Lillie Sisk Fincham.
He was a farmer and a fork lift operator.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lue Emma Fincham, two daughters, Miss Dorothy Anna Fincham of Bealeton and Mrs. Betty Ann Wean of Nokesville, and two sons, David Alan Fincham of Bealeton and Ernest Clifton Fincham III of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include five . sisters, Mrs. Shirley Nesselrodt of Nokesville, Mrs. Hazel Jenkins of Manassas, Mrs. Helen Brown of Culpeper, Mrs. Mabel Dwyer and Mrs. Mary Eddins of Bealeton, and a brother Collis Fincham of Culpeper.
Funeral services were conducted May 6 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home, Culpeper, with interment at Hillcrest Memory Gardens at Jeffersonton.
Leon Waters
Leon Ratcliffe Waters, 84, of Culpeper, died May 1 at the Orange County Nursing Home following a long illness. Mr. Waters was the owner of L. R. Waters Inc.
A native of Dumfries, he had lived in Culpeper for many years.
Mr. Waters was past president of the Rotary Club, past president of Retail Merchants, and a member of the board of directors of Culpeper National Bank and First National - Bank of Quantico.
He was also a member of the Culpeper United Methodist Church, the Virginia Petroleum Jobbers Association, and the Fairfax Masonic
