Rappahannock News photo/Lou Hatter RAPPAHANNOCK GARDEN CLUB dedicated new benches and plantings recently placed m the garden in front to the courthouse. “Although the plantings are dedicated to the memory of loved ones no longer with us, the garden is for our community, for all of us who have a part of our lives recorded in the courthouse,” Chairman Edna Metzinger said. The azaleas and blue spruces join a variety of trees and shrubs previously planted in the lawn outside the courthouse by the Garden Club. Participating in the ceremony were (1 to r.) Mrs. Frances Lyne, Mrs. Sally Sharp, Mrs. Metzinger, Mrs. Helen Fairfax and Mrs. Jessie Miller Turner.
