“We’re packing our trunk to go to first grade and we’re taking..

Twenty-four kindergarteners put in the trunk something they thought they would use in first grade next year. Each item was representative of a letter of the alphabet. The other kindergarteners helped out by singing songs, reciting poems, or saying rhythms about that item.

This was the scene at Rappahannock County Elementary School May 2 when Ms. Burrows’, Ms. Decker’s and Ms. Waterfield’s kindergarten classes presented their end of the year play.
