The Child Care and Learning Center moved last weekend to its new home on Route 211 just outside Washington. The facility, which has been under construction since last September, is finished except for landscaping and the construction of a permanent playground, according to director Mary Tauss.
“The Learning Center had outgrown the facilities in its former location,” a converted farmhouse in Tiger Valley, said Ms. Tauss. The farmhouse had been home for Sursum Corda since 1978, “although the need for a new facility has been obvious for three or four years,” she continued.
