Miss Mary Peachey Lyne
has been named to the Honor Roll at Strayer Junior College of Finance in Washington, D.C. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne of Washington and a 1960 graduate of Rappahannock High School, where she was president of the Student Government and president of her junior class. Miss Lyne is taking the medical secretarial course, working toward her associate in arts degree.
C. E. Brown has been appointed a certified Hunter Safety Instructor, the National Rifle Association of America announced recently. Mr. Brown is qualified to teach classes in gun operation, safe gun-handling, and techniques of shooting on the target-range and in the field to all interested members of his community.
