Ms. Waterfield explained the play’s preparation. “We divided the letters among the three classes. Each teacher had to find a poem or a song for the letters their class had.” The teachers made the letters, crayon costumes, flower costumes and other props.
The students were eager to tell about their parts.
Jeff Jenkins said, “I’m a letter person-S. I’m going to pack my school bag for first grade.”
“I’m a letter person, too,” added Stacy Payne. “I’m G. I like to say my part and sing the songs. ”
