County-wide trash pick-up
Rappahannock residents can participate in a county-wide trash pick-up, Saturday, April 18. Simply pick a road or two, or even part of a road, and plan to pick up trash on that day (or some other day, if you can't make it on that day).
If you or an organization you're involved with wants to join the state Adopta-Highway program, contact the Virginia Department of Transportation's Warrenton residency.

Anti-drag group to form
A new group to foster a substance-free environment for the county's youth, the Community Coalition Working for Healthy Youth (CCWHY), will hold an organizational and informational meeting in the Washington Fire Hall, 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28. All interested community members are invited, and babysitting will be available.
Foddorstack 10-K registration
Registration for the Podderstack 10-K Classic road race, to be run April 25, has begun. Pre-registration is $14 by mail and is due April 17. Vehicle stickers on sale
Vehicle stickers for Rappahannock County are on sale at the Treasurer's Office on'Gay Street. Takes must be paid and stickers displayed by May 1. The office hours are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. MondayFriday. Call 675-3334.
