Call For Mass Meeting Of The
Republican Party, Rappahannock County
I, Ronald L. Frazier, Chairman of the Rappahannock County Republican Committee, do hereby issue a call for the Mass Meeting of all members of the Republican Party in Rappahannock County to be held at the Court House in Washington, VA, on April 20,1992, at 8:00 PM.
The purposes of the mass meeting are to elect delegates and alternates to the 10th Congressional District Convention ana the State Convention, election of committee members and officers for a two-year term, and the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the committee.
The 10th District Convention will be held at Warren County High School in Front Royal, VA, on May 16,1992, at 10:00 AM. The State Convention will be held on May 29-30,1992, at the Salem Civic Center, Salem, VA, to elect delegates to the National Convention, National Committeeman, National Committeewoman, and other business as published in the call for the State Convention.
There will be a $1 registration fee charged at the mass meeting of the Rappahannock Republican Party. Registration will open at 7:30 and close at 8:00 PM. Anyone in line at 8:00 PM will be admitted.
Candidates for delegates or alternates must pre-file in writing by 5:00 PM, April 13th to Ronald L Frazier, Rt. 1, Box 1833, Amissville, VA 22002. Afiiing fee of $10.00 for the 10th District Convention and $35.00 for the State Convention should accompany the pre-filing letter, as late fees will apply at the conventions.
All legal and qualified voters of Rappahannock Co. regardless of race, religion, color, national origin or sex, under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who express in opefi meeting, if requested, their intent to support all of the nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its Mass Meetings, Party Canvasses, Conventions or Primaries in their respective Election Districts.
