For four years, the Blue Ridge Arts Council Inc. has presented a Vintner’s Dinner Fundraiser each spring. This year, the event has changed to a tasting and toasting of the “Fine Art of Virginia Wines and Foods.”
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, at “Druid Hill,” the historic home of Mr. and Mrs. John Costello in Warren County.
Featured foods will be French tarts from L’Auberge Provencale’s chef Alain Borel, a broccoli and cheese casserole from chef Frank Asaro of Hotel Strasburg, and the unique peanut soup and rolls from Wayside Inn’s chef Larry Huf.
McSylvies in Middletown provides a pastry-wrapped brie, Oliver’s owner/chef Richard Mahan will prepare a sinfully delicious creme brulee, Royal Oak will make a special pork barbecue, Traditions—Country Kitchen
