In a recent meeting with a highly effective and sincere community leader, principal John Toth of RCHS, we were discussing the very problem of communication between parent and school. Mr. Toth also considered the possibility of examining new programs to enhance this interaction.

This is a challenging opportunity for the Rappahannock News to take the lead in providing a powerful liaison—connecting parents and schools. Create a forum for interaction between parents and ideas. It is our belief that any concerned parent, child or grandparent would seek out this weekly feature as a principle source of such timely information.

This proposed resource of ideas would also record past events and especially preview upcoming ones. This challenge needs to be met. We can collectively use our talents through good communication to brighten the future prospects for our children and our Rappahannock public school system. It would most certainly foster involvement.
