The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary met on Monday evening with 12 members present. They discussed the fireman’s banquet to be held this Saturday, April 11.
Those present were Mary Frances Bywaters president, Mary Curtis, Mabel Lillard, Gaynelle Russell, Mary Blaisdeil, Mary Brady, Alice Pullen, Jeanetta Pullen, Libby Wharton, Ellen Joback, Arland Welch and Kitty Darner.
Gladys Bowie of Culpeper spent the weekend with her sister Russie Miller. They were Sunday visitors of Mary Miller Wood at Washington.
The Flint Hill Fire Company has recently installed a 20,000 gallon water reserve supply tank on the fire grounds for the Flint Hill community. They would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who helped with this project.
Kathy Hudson was honored with a surprise birthday party at the home of Dwayne Jones on Saturday with a number of friends and relatives present.
