death of Elder Donald Ray Barnes of Athens, W.Va., which occured on March 21 after an extended illness. Elder Barnes was a regular Baptist minister, having pastored the Mount Jackson Regular Baptist Church in Athens for many years, having retired several years ago due to ill health. He had conducted revival meetings in many churches of Ketocton Association in our area and was well loved as an outstanding minister of the gospel by all who knew him.
