Betty Menefee of Manassas was a Saturday guest of her mother Frances Eubank. Later in the evening they visited Minnie Foster at Royal Haven Rest Home in Front Royal.
I received a pleasant telephone call last week from Susan Longyear in Richardson, Texas. She and her husband Walter and daughter Casey moved there from their home Fairlea, here in town last August. I am glad to tell all that the Longyears will arrive back in Rappahannock on June 1. it will be a pleasure to have them back in the community.
Happy birthday to the following having birthdays this week: Janie Burke in Culpeper on April 5, Ellen Musteo on April 9 and also Richard Simmons on April 9. May you have many more.
The Ladies Auxiliary Thrift Shop is now open. The shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays weather permitting.
