Amissville Fire
holds fund drive
The Amissville Fire Company will mail a fund drive brochure this week to community residents and those living in surrounding areas.
This annual plea is necessary to secure the year’s operating budget. Funding a volunteer organization of this magnitude is not easy. Many other activities are also carried out to ensure swift, professional service from this company.
A new ambulance is mandatory. AVFD has received approval of a grant toward a vehicle and these monies must be matched by the community.
Amissville has three paramedics, two cardiac techs, one EMT-ST, 18 EMTs, many firemen and faithful auxiliary volunteers, to respond in emergencies. Please help them help you.
