Ubraiy series to begin
Rappahannock County Library's First Friday Series will begin on Sept. 11, actually a second Friday because of the Labor Day weekend. The first program is entitled “An Overview of the Grey Ghost.” Speakers for the program will include Jim Moyer, Tom Evans, Kenneth MeAtee and Virgil Carrington Jones.
The program will begin at 8 p.m. in the library’s meeting room, followed by refreshments and an opportunity to meet and talk with the speakers.
Next month’s program on Oct. 2 will be “Hail to the Candidate: Presidential Campaigns From Banners to Broadcasts,” with author Keith Melder.
