Employees are eligible for a retirement plan, Mr. Currence said. The amount of the retirement depends on the number of years service. Employees are also eligible for one to three weeks of paid vacation per year depending on length of service, he added. They are covered by hospitalization insurance and can choose to also purchase mjyor medical coverage, he said.
Aileen plants are involved training in quality control. Mr. Currence said the company has been getting training in this area for about a year. Abe Oberlin, the major stockholder in the company, started the program, Mr. Currence said. “He believes that success is due to quality, and if we have good quality we will keep our customers,” he said.
