TernGully' is movie
“FemGully.. .The Last Rain Forest” rated PG, will be shown at The Theatre at Washington, Va. at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, the weekly RAAC-sponsored movie.
In a magical part of the rain forest called FemGully, the elderly fairy Magi Lune is trying to initiate her daughter Crysta in spellmaking and harnessing nature’s magical forces. But since Crysta’s attention-wandering ways interfere, she will have to learn the hard way. Totally ignoring Magi’s warnings, she sneaks a peeck outside her sheltered little world and discovers the disastrous leveler. FemGully is next on its path of destruction. Hexxus, an evil force Magi long ago trapped in bark, will then be free to nourish and feed on the death and destruction. Goverbud club organizing
The Chester Gap 4-H Club is reorganizing for the 1992-93 year. The new club will be a 4-H Cloverbud Club for ages 6-8. The first meeting will be from 78 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15 at Chester Gap fire hall. The new leader will be Kim Gilkey-Breeden.
