agent for change” and “gets along by going along.”

Either Mr. Vickery has not taken the time to look at Congressman’s Wolfs record, or he is trying to fool people here.

Any objective look at the record shows that year after year Frank Wolf has been one of the most effective members of Congress in working for real change: lowering interest rates and inflation; transferring control of Dulles Airport from Congress to the community; improving roads; expanding the availability of first class child care; improving government personnel policies; and, most important, trying to balance the federal budget.

How can Mr. Vickery expect us to choose him and his party to make real change? It was the Democratic Party’s leadership that recently twisted arms hard enough to “persuade” 10 Democrats, sponsors of the Balanced Budget Amendment, to change their position and vote against it, thereby defeating it. Who’s for change?

There are many in Congress who indeed “go along to get along.” Frank Wolf, who voted for the BBA, clearly is not one. Which is why we should keep him in Congress!
