The Board of Supervisors will meet with Bob Moore, the Resident Engineer for the Virginia Dept, of Transportation (VDOT), for a public hearing on county roads at 7 p.m. Monday.
At the evening session the superivsors also will consider a lease agreement for a piece of property on Route 642 near Amissville.
The Rappahannock Athletic Association wants to lease the former dump site and convert it to a community sports facility with baseball fields.
The county proposes to lease the 6.9 acre site for 40 years at $10 per year to the non-profit organization with the clear understanding that any improvements will revert to the county if the lease is not renewed.
On the even numbered years the supervisors review the six-year plan for road improvements in the county. On the odd years Mr. Moore comes back to review those projects
