RAA workday
A RAA field workday has been scheduled at the Stuart Field at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4. Parents and area residents are urged to help and it is requested that you bring garden tools if possible.
Paintings on display
Tonya Rickey’s paintings will be on display at the Rappahannock Library April 3-30. Thirty percent of any purchase made in April from the library or from her new location on Main Street will be donated to the library.
Easter egg hunt
The Sperryville United Methodist will have an Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. on April 10 at the home of Brenda Anderson in Sperryville. All children and parents are invited.
Bake sale at CGLC
The Child Care and Learning Center will hold an Easter bake sale from 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on April 7 and 8. Proceeds will benefit the field trip fund. Donations are welcome.
Band needs pianos
The R.C.H.S. Bank is hosting a “Solo and Ensemble Featival” on Saturday, April 17. Hundreds of student musicians from nearby counties will be judged on their instrumental performances. Most of the solos will require piano accompaniment. The school system has three pianos, but an additional two are needed for the event. If the band could borrow your piano, please contact Ms. Whitford at 987-8575. Your piano will be tuned free of charge.
