On April 5, Monday evening there is a Public Hearing on the sixyear plan for paving, secondary roads. If you love this country’s rural roads, appreciate the cultural impact and above all realize the ecological importance of the existence of these roads, I urge you to attend.
County Administrator John McCarthy has been more accomodating as where RLEP have requested information as well as planning maps.
So I learned in my own situations, the time to speak for protection and preservation is available to us at these public hearings and we need to acknowledge this forum.
Mr. McCarthy noted himself that if there is enough support or oppostion to a road change then this is taken into account in the planning.
