He has worked with the Smithsonian Institiution and recorded on their Folkways series. He serves as a consultant to the American Indian Dance Theatre and sits on the governing council as an Elder of the Allegany/Seneca community where he resides.
Bill teaches high school on the Reservation as well. As a member of Mr. Crouse’s extended family, Kevin JohnnyJohn often travels with Bill. He is an accomplished performer of the Iroquois traditions.
At 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, a participatory workship will be available to the first 20 registrants. Bill Crouse and Kevin Johnny-John will lead attendees through a traditional Native American dance.
There will be time to sing tribal songs and learn about the oral traditions through stories. The* cost is $20.
