HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR C #07647. Individual to apply pavement markings by operating thermoplastic trucks and inspect gauge temperatures. Supervise and instruct others in work assignments and the use of equipment and maintain supply levels for the thermoplastic operations by loading paint supplies. Perform preventive and minor maintenance on equipment; complete reports on hours worked and materials used; and perform heavy manual labor. Must have knowledge of safety practices and regulations. Requires ability to operate and maintain heavy duty equipment and perform heavy manual labor. Must be able to complete reports and supervise and instruct others. Salary: $16,458 $25,129.
Each position requires a valid Virginia Operator’s license, safety shoes and timely receipt of a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Position also requires continuous overnight travel throughout the State. Each position offers an excellent benefit package.
