These last two are contingent upon donated rights of way from adjoining landowners, according to Mr. Moore.
The fourth project on the schedule is to push back a bank on a curve on Route 707 near Route 644, east of Slate Mills, to improve sight distance.
In the afternoon session the supervisors will review school concerns with Superintendent David Gangel and return to several items of old business.
County Administrator John McCarthy will review landfill issues with the board and the latest plans for the new magistrates’ office.
The first cell in the county landfill is nearly full and must be closed soon and a new' one opened. The county has been working to get all the state permits completed so that a second cell can be opened while continuing to negotiate with Fauquier County to take our trash.
Mr. McCarthy will report on both parts of the trash problem.
The county has purchased an old garage near the jail and intends to convert it into an office for the county’s magistrates. Architect’s plans for the inside of the building should be available at the upcoming meeting.
