Residents desiring to dispose of banned or unusable pesticides will have an opportunity later this summer, according to Rappahannock County Agent Scott Cunningham. Rappahannock is one of four counties in Virginia selected to participate in the disposal program. Farmers who did not participate in the 1991 survey should contact the Extension Office at 675-3619 as soon as possible but no later than June 1 in order to be eligible for the disposal.
