Robert Leyendecker

Engineer earns

special award

Mr. Robert R. Leyendecker, Electronics Engineer, at the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Directorate, Vint Hill Farms Station, Warrenton, has earned the 1992 HQ CECOM Milton A. Lipton Award.

The Lipton Award Recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions in computer and software engineering.

Leyendecker developed a highly complex signal processing and analysis prototype. This prototype system provides a common architecture on which to test and develop techniques needed in signals warfare efforts. His research produced serveral major technological breakthroughs.

Leyendecker and his wife, Cindy, reside in Laurel Mills.
