lhe Homemakers Club is delighted to have Betty Smith of Washington demonstrating “Shadow Quilting” at their meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 5, at Amissville Baptist.

The United Methodist Church will return to its regular time of 11 a.m. for church services and 9:45 a.m. for Sunday School on Sunday, April 4; same day as daylight savings time begins.

RAA baseball/softball registration will be accepted by phone through April 10. Call Lydia after 7 p.m. Monday-Friday at 937-5975. Bad weather necessitated this action.

Also, RAA is still seeking contestants for Miss RAA. Call Chervl at 937-5127.

Amissville Volunteer Fire Department is seeking contestants. The categories are Little Princess, ages 3 to 7; Princess, ages 8 to 13; Queen; ages 14 to 20. To sign up call Sandy at 937-4218.

Reminder to everyone, desiring to participate in the fireman’s parade, it’s not too early to be thinking about a float or other entry. The parade is set for Thursday, June 24.
