We are currently seeking qualified applicants to compete for the following openings in our Traffic Engineering Section:
HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR B #10548. Individual to apply pavement markings by operating 1 and 3-ton thermoplastic trucks and line marking equipment. Operate 1 1 /2 ton support vehicles and provide work zone protection for mobile operations. Maintain supply levels for the thermoplastic operation by loading paint supplies and perform preventive and minor maintenance on equipment. Complete reports on hours worked and materials used and instructs others in operating and maintaining equipment. Must have knowledge of safety practices and regulations. Abilny to perate and maintain medium duty equipment and perform heavy manual labor. Must be able to complete reports; instruct others; and use simple plans and sketches. Salary; $15,055 - $22,987.
