Surviving are three sons, Allen Tobin of Front Royal, James E. Burke Sr., of Flint Hill and Charles E. Burke of Sperryville; three daughters, Pearl Latham of Front Royal, Carolyn Cole of Richmond and Dorothy V. Martin of Berryville; one brothers, Charles Tobin of Flint Hill; two sisters, Mabel Miller and Louise Haun; 27 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were the members of the Giles B. Cook Post 53 of the American Legion.
