“Stories from the Dust in the Corner,” the multi-media dance/drama by Rappahannock County’s Laurie Marshall and collaborators, the Song Sweepers, will be performed at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 in the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, 4444 Arlington Boulevard.
The performance is a celebration of the richness and choices of life’s end. It was recently performed by the five children, five adult troop in San Francisco for the National Hospice Convention.
There will be time for the audience to share their stories of loss and renewal after the 50-minute production. The book form of “Dust” will also be available. A selection of Marshall’s paintings is on exhibit through the month of October at the Unitarian Church.
Advance tickets are S6 Mid $8 at the door. The public is also invited to a lasagna dinner at 6 p.m. for $5. Call (703) 892-2565 for reservation. The Church is located at the comer of U.S. 50 and S. George Mason Drive.
“Dust” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. at Rappahannock County High School on Oct. 27 and 28.
