With PowerPay, your electric bill payments will be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on the due date/late pay date shown on your bill. It's similar to direct deposit of your payroll or Social Security check.
Your regular statement will still be mailed 20 days prior to the due date so you'll know the amount being deducted. If you are enrolled in the Average Payment Plan, your financial institution will deduct your budgeted bill amount each month.
PowerPay costs nothing, although some financial institutions may add a service charge for direct payments. We suggest you check to be sure. To sign up, simply complete an enrollment form showing the account number on your electric bill and the number of the account from which payments will be drawn. The forms are available at Potomac Edison business offices. What could be easier?
