The Rappahannock County High School Cross Country teams ran in the Woodberry Forest Invitational meet last weekend. The boys finished eleventh of fourteen teams, and the girls placed ninth out of eleven teams.
Boys’ Captain, Mark Jenkins finished tenth overall, with an impressive time of 17:59. Eddie and Chris Sause finished 31st and 34th with times of 18:52 and 19:01 respectively. Jennings Hobson, the 68th finisher, crossed the line in an even 20:00. Mike Wolfe finished a second behind him in 69th place.
The Rappahannock Girls were led by Holly Gangel who placed fourteenth with a time of 22:02. Jessica Gheen finished in 22:59 which landed her in 31st place. Caroline
