Commonwealth’s Attorney Peter Luke wants to warn Rappahannock residents to be on the alert for fraudulent home repair sales people in the county.
Mr. Luke spoke early this week with Wayne Brown of the Virginia Department of Commerce, the investigator in charge for this region. Mr. Brown told him that gypsy families have once again been visiting the area, and there have been a number of fraud cases reported recently between Fredericksburg and Winchester.
