The Health and Fitness Support Group continues to meet form 11 a.m. to noon each Tuesday at Amissville United Methodist. For details call Cathy at 937-5024.
The Ruritan Club’s Family Fun Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21. Included are a full pit-cooked beef BBQ dinner for $8 for adults and $4 for children. Cold drinks fifty cents, tea and coffee served with dinner. A BBQ sandwich with cole slaw will cost $4.
There will be Country Line Dancing by the group, “Keeping Country.” Cost is $2 per two dances ($5 per family) payable to the Ruritan Club.
Also included are a bake sale, raffle, flea market, etc. Ten by ten spaces may be rented for S10. Make checks payable to the Ruritan Club and mail to them in care of Early’s Carpet, P.O. Box 21, Amissville, Va. 22002.
