Our items of interest for this week, features the Third Annual Field of Dreams and Arts, Musical Festivals to be held this Saturday at the Windmore Cultural Center, down in GrifFinsburg. Activities begin with the 5K run at 8:30 a.m. The day of music will begin at 10 a.m. \yith one group, another at 11:30 a.m., another at 1 p.m., closing with the Navy Jazz Band at 3 p.m. Food will be provided by Salem and Culpeper Ruritan Clubs. Please call 547-2555 for other information concerning other activities throughout the day.

Mrs. Randy Weakley of Reva Way and her mother, Mrs. Roger Barfield of Culpeper recently spent a week with Mr. and Mrs. John Dodson in Akron, Ohio.

Freddie Butler spent several days last week with his son, Paul Frederick, U S. Navy in Virginia Beach.

Mrs. Shelvy Frazier was given a surprise birthday party by her children at her home on Friday evening. Guests include family and close friends.

Novum Baptist Church is in revival this week each evening at 7 and continuing through Thursday, Sept. 21.

Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville was a Friday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and family on Turkey Ridge Road. Saturday Mrs. Atkins accompanied by Mrs. John A. Berrey of Criglersville attended a surprise birthday party for camp direction, David Thompson at the Rapidan Baptist Church in Rochelle. David was celebrating his 40th birthday.

Massanova Pentecostal Church down Castleton way held their homecoming on Sunday with Rev. Don Rich and Rev. Danny Wiley as guest speakers. Rev. Rich is conducting revival services all this week through Sunday and the public is invited. Rev. and Mrs. Rich are form Oklahoma.

Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Timbers and SHelley were Sunday guests of Mrs. Mildred Timbers in Woodville. Sunday before they were guests of Mr. and Mrs! Charlie Dodson on Route 707
