We want to recognize Mr. Charlie Priest upon his recent award of the Cross of Military Service. He was a Pharmacist Mate in the U.S. Navy during World War II. His grandfather, Mason Priest served in the Confederacy as a private in Co. G., 12 Reg’t Virginia Calvary.
The Cross of Military Service is the highest award given to a veteran by the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
