responsibility lies with everyone that owns a gun. Why are they not locked up, out of the reach of children? We have childproof medicine bottles and cleaning products. Why not childproof guns? What is wrong with parents who do not take this responsibility seriously?

Yes, we should be able to own guns. But no, we should not be enabling our youth to practice violence on each other. The old West is over with. The time is now to have a safer world to raise our children. This is the new millennium. We must no longer facilitate this type of violence. We, as mothers must unite and regain our childrens’ safety while retaining our rights to own guns. Guns are here to stay. We must go into this era with a new attitude.

If we value our youth we must each do our part to become responsible gun owners as this does begin at home. We are not paying enough attention to what our children are doing. It is the responsibility of each and every parent, whether you own a gun or not, to know what your children are doing.

We are concerned mothers.
