Our membership understands that a group
of developers and investors called ACTION has delivered a massive growth plan for Amissville and Jackson District to the Rappahannock Planning Commission. This plan calls for potential high density village residential rezoning of over 4,500 acres and establishment of a general commercial area nearly the size of Fair Oaks Mall! Our Amissville Area Community Association CAACA) wants to clearly state to district and County residents that we have no involvement with ACTION or this plan.
Our association is formed to unite the residents of the Jackson District, to bring back a sense of community to the Amissville area and form an alliance between our community, other concerned organizations, the county government, and our elected officials.
