You will need: • Paint stripper gel or a propane torch • Metal scraper • Electric palm-sander • Medium-grit sandpaper • Wood epoxy • Outdoor-grade silicon sealant. You can use gel-type paint removed, but I’ve found a propane torch to be the absolutely best way of going down to bare wood. Heat the paint until it bubbles and then scrape away. Don’t overdo it — wood bums. It’s a good idea to do this
