Use an electric palm-sander with medium-grit paper to sand the window frame down. If you don’t have a palm sander, this won’t be a one-day project.
After sanding, apply a thin coat of sealing primer and then two coats of your choice of outdoor paint.
If you’ve replaced glass panes, or removed the old glazing, I would suggest not using new glaze. External grade silicon sealer is easier to apply, clean up and is even paintable.
Baseboards
After a major renovation involving knocking down interior walls or putting in new partitions, you might save some bucks by opting to do your own interior trim work.
Unless your walls have unusual curves or comers with weird angles, baseboards are pretty straightforward and extremely satisfying to undertake.
