They were disappointed to learn that they would have to win a trophy like everyone else as our high standards of probity, integrity and dignity forbade us selling an unearned trophy to any but the truly obscenely wealthy and influential.
I am pleased to report that thus far there is only a single registrant for the race who is less than thirty years of age, thereby assuring a field rich with deviousness and guile if short on actual speed.
