• The next RCES PTO dinner meeting will be held on Friday, April 7. The pot luck dinner will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 7. Special guests for the meeting will be School Superintendent Dr. David Gangel and Assistant Superintendent Mrs. Mary Anne Biggs. They will be making a presentation on the Budget Process.

If you would like to know how a school budget is formulated, where the funding comes from, how an item makes it into the budget and more, please come. The meetings are always fun and informative. Questions? Please call Mr. Jimmy Swindler, PTO President, at 987-8259.

• The dinner theme will be “Salads”. If you plan to come for dinner, please bring an interesting salad to share. The possibilities are endless (garden, Caesar, chicken, macaroni, seafood, ham, pasta, potato, hot, cold, oriental); whatever you think others will enjoy.

• Have a wonderful week. Baseball and soccer seasons are beginning. You don’t have children at home? That’s OK. Please attend a game or practice anyway. Having a cheering section really does make a difference to the young athletes, and you just may have fun too.
