Kindergarten registration set
Kindergarten registration will be held at Rappahannock County Elementary School on Tuesday, April 4; Wednesday, April 5 and Thursday, April 6 from 9 a.m. until noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. by appointment only. For appointments and/or information call RCES at 987-8259.
Democratic Committee meets April 4
The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library.
The upcoming Democratic Caucus, which will be held in Rappahannock on April 17 will take center stage at the meeting. The prefiling forms for Delegates to the 10th Congressional District Convention and the Virginia Democratic State Convention will be available that evening as well as copies of the temporaryrules which will govern the conduct of the caucus. Any county Democrat interested in being a Delegate to the Conventions, offering resolutions to be considered for adoption, or simply participating in the caucus is urged to attend this meeting.
Other items on the agenda include updates on the Relay for Life team, reports from the standing committees, news of some very generous anonymous donations to the committee, the soon-to-be launched RCDC web site and success in finding a donkey.
