Lions?
A large Royal Mute Swan was found killed on a farm lake near The Plains this week by an animal the Warrenton State Lab autopsy concludes was caused either by huge dog (80 to 100 pounds) or by a Mountain Lion. These big cats are known to have migrated in recent years east into the Blue Ridge Mountains. It would be appreciated if anyone knowing of a Mountain Lion sighting would telephone 540347-7144.
