Shenandoah National Park is now accepting applications for the 2000 Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) program. YCC provides gainful employment for area youths and an educational experience in the conservation /of our natural and historical heritage.
Youth Conservation Corps members work to maintain park trails, roads, buildings, and icampgrounds while learning about Shenandoah National Park.
The program runs for eight weeks from June 19 to Aug. 11. Applicants must be between the ages of 15 and 18. Enrollees in the program ‘Will work 40 hours per week for the eight Weeks. The salary is minimum wage, $5.15 per hour. Enrollees must have transportation to
