John C. Esty Jr., resident of Concord, Mass, and life long educator will be panelist and moderator at the Headwaters Forum, publiceducation.com scheduled for Thursday evening April 13 at Rappahannock County High School at 7.

Mr. Esty, a graduate of Amherst College and Yale University, was Principal of the Taft School, Watertown, Conn. before becoming President of the National Association of Independent Schools for 13 years. He has served as a school board member for the Concord public schools and as a trustee of a number of educational institutions and founding trustee of Recruiting New Teachers, Inc.

Currently he is a consultant to two inner city Boston public high schools and fund raising adviser to a rural public charter school. Mr. Esty
