canceled for July
There being no business before the Board, the July 2002 meeting of the Rappahannock County Board of Zoning Appeals is canceled. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 7:30 , p.m.

Amissville July 16
Next Tuesday, July 16, Ben “Cooter” Jones will be at the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department from 7 to 9 p.m. to discuss his candidacy for the United States Congress. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Panther athletes
Fall tryouts will begin Aug. 5. You must have completed and have on file with the school, a * VHSL physical examination form before you can begin practice.
If you need a physical you can get one on July 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Dr. Jerry Martin’s office in Washington. The cost is $10.
The VHSL form may be picked up from Mr. Armstrong in the Athletic Director’s Office at RCHS.
